This style sheath can be worn horizontally behind your back, on your hip, on your appendix and also vertically. When you carry it vertically it sits at a slight angle so you don't have to move it out of the way when you sit down! Check out the pictures. The last image is a color chart. Thread color and safety strap color will be matched as closely as possible.

I use 7 to 10 ounce leather and seal these sheaths inside and out. They are heavy duty horizontal knife sheaths! Something else I do that others don't is, I epoxy where the blade sits inside the sheaths. I don't see other leather makers doing this. These are built to be used!
